Among others, "Interceptor center caps" on ebay.

Here is a link to where I got mine.

You will need the "shouldered" lug nuts for the center cap type. Also, there are a few cases where the raised ring on an aftermarket wheel just outside the bolt circle was too close to the lugs to allow these Ford center caps to fit. I got my wheels from tire rack years ago with my first set of snows and the hub caps made it inside the "ring". The shouldered lug nuts are available from NAPA, I don't recall the part number but I found it here so it might be in an old post if you search for NAPA Lug Nuts.

Did you put them on the Marauder  I have heard they would stick out too far due to the backspacing.

Of course I did!
They stuck out aprox 1/2"
Big deal over the winter.
The rims were all of about $45 each.

It's all good as long as they don't rub. I use those on my car in the winter. Did you switch to shoulder lug nuts and police centercaps, I have. Looks cool and people drive different around me unitl they figure it out that I'm not a cop. :D

Is there a source for 18 inch steel wheels for the MM?

How can that be the inside lip of the wheel, if it was too deep then it would hit the brake assembly would it not?
The brakes are a smaller diameter then the inside of the wheel.

With them sticking out that far don't you get a lot of winter road debris thrown up on the quarter panel?

And pointless...because even if you did find a snow tire tire in 18...it wouldn't be the right size and you are back to square one.
16's are the most efficient, with the most choices of tires, and the most difference in pricing.
17's work, but you are limited in choices, and stuck with high prices.
18's :nono:

It's going to be snowing before you decide what to do.
I'm done here. Good luck with your decision, and remember, there is a plethera of snow tire discussions dating back to 2002. Nothing has changed since then, just opinions.;)

Hello everyone,
I have recently moved to Ohio (where it actually snows) and I recently purchased some new Pirelli Scorpions 215/65-16 and 225/70-16 front and rear, respectively. I am looking for some 7-hole ('03+) p71 16" steel wheels complete with the shouldered lugnuts as well as the center caps. If anyone has any or all of these items, I'd be willing to trade a reasonable amount of green stuff for them. Thanks very much in advance and I apologize for the possible thread hijack.
