Should I be concerned? I noticed a small amount of dampness on my tailpipe nothing major. Is coming out of a curled hose with an open end attatched to a screwed in nipple on the axle. Is this due to possible overfill of the rear axle? I put a Ford racing girdle on 3 months ago...
thanks,
matt

Overfill would definitely cause it. Did you fill from the rear cover or the front fill plug by the yoke?

I filled from the front fill plug but the car was on jackstands and I remember the rear was slightly lower than the front beacuse I didnt want to get yelled at for fluid stains on the driveway...

The only thing I can add is to check and make sure that the fitting is tight into the rear end housing. I have seen more than one (my old MGM included) loose without ever being disturbed.

Its good and tight, thats why i didnt understand the leak at first.
Thanks again

Stop driving so hard and sloshing all the fluid around in there!!!!
