Some Mustang wheels are cast, but the Marauder wheel tehy use for Mustangs is the same as ours, forged. They have machined the center cap area slightly different, other than they are our wheels.

There have been look alike knock offs of our wheels appear, that are cast and chrome plated in China, but those are not Ford wheels.

Guess I'm lucky, my cost would be $462 each. They have aftermarket Marauder rims all over EBay for $699 a set of 4, probably made in China, and if they have the same quality control in their metallurgy as they do in their toy production *shudder* well, lets just say I wouldn't want a set of these timebombs on my car.

If they are 'aftermarket' and look like our wheels, they are made in China and cast aluminum (lead content to be determined ;) ).
Wheels cast in China don't have the best reputation or quality record.

I MIGHT buy the cheap China Ebay Wheels as Winter Wheels w/ snow tires..... but that is about it. I believe you have to pay extra to have them clearcoated. Give that a year :rolleyes:

The knock off wheels are Cast, not Forged. Hence..they cannot be widened.
