Spare tire weight?

I have the 300A marauder and was wondering if any of you know what the spare wheel and tire weigh. i was thinking if it made sense to replace that with a smaller spare. greg

Considering what this car weighs to begin with, it seems the small weight differential between the full-size spare and the mini-donut would not affect the economy significantly over the short term...over a number of years, maybe...plus, I like the security of having a "real" tire on my car if I need it...those space-saver spares just seem too wimbly...

Thanks for replying RF, for economy wise i agree. I did not state it but was referring to speed... acceleration. If i have someone in the car that weighs 120 plus i can definately feel the car slow down. So if the wheel weighs a significant amount it might make sense to replace it. Thank,greg
