Saw a Black MM on Old Bridge Road headed east yesterday morning. He pulled into the Texaco Station at Harbor Drive so I circled around and came in the back. Chatted for awhile and gave him one of the MM.Net cards.
He wasn't aware of the site or of the national interest in Marauders. Said he would check in sometime in the next couple days. He's had his Marauder about 4 years and its a 300a early version -- gas release, separate dash clock, front seat map pockets, full sized spare, etc. :D
The car has severe paint issues on the roof and the beginnings of problems on the trunk lid. Even with blistering, peeling, and pock marking, he indicated that he has been getting the run around between the dealer and Ford (pointing fingers at each other) for a long time. Asked him to check in here regarding other folks experience with paint issues on the early MMs.
