View Full Version : Mass Air Flow System?
Has anyone checked out the 900 cfm MAF system from www.lincolnmotorsport.com ? They tell me it can add about 15 RWHP. The site shows one for Lincolns, they haven't upgraded the site yet to show the one for the MM. Does this sound logical?

Yea, that site is kinda lame right now. I doubt it would give us an advantage. Our intake manifolds are quite special - Jack Rousch style. I think people like Kenny B or Dennis R would have tried this by now, and since they aren't offering anything, I don't think there would be any advantage.

All I want to say here is this is a C&L Meter, some people like them others don't. I have never used them, I dont care for them niether does Jerry, ProAm is making a meter for our car also, but for the cost involved for the small HP gain, I will pass. The meter that is on our cars is calibrated for our EEC, if you install a non OEM meter you may gain HP the reason is the air meter transfer function is different from the stock OEM Maf, and the car will run lean, and yes it will gain HP but what will happen is the EEC will relearn a new fuel stratagy to compensate for the lean condition and the power will go away, again if you want to try it go ahead. The only way to do this right is have the transfer functin adjusted via the chip or flash on the dyno. I am using our stock meter to make 433 RWHP thats good enough for me. I may do a Pro Am in a blow through configuration for Patricks car.
