looking at buying steel rims for winter...size?

Hello,

I found some rims but before I lay the money down I want to double check with everyone here to see if these would work.

The size is:
16X7, 5 LUG, 4 1/2" BOLT PATTERN, 54MM OFFSET

Part number is:
5W7Z-1007-AA

They are genuine P71 steel wheels. I plan to put some snow tires on before the blizzard hits :cool:

The part number listed is for the replacement CVPI steel wheels. I see no problems on installing these to your MM.

Sounds good to me...I ran 16x7 Grand Marquis steelies with no issues other than a slight offset issue making the wheel stick out a 1/4" or so.

You must have used 98-02 panther 16" steelies

These have a lower offset than 03+ panthers, and as a result will stick out further when used on 03+ cars.

03+ panther wheels will all interchange and have the correct offset.

Actually I MUST have used the rims I took off my 98 Grand Marquis....
