When you have one tune in the xcal, you can change some of the parameters a few percent one way or the other. I suggest loading the program you have as it is. After you learn more and feel-out the car, perhaps change a parameter or two.

The way I understand it, the user selectable changes you make are against the program in the xcal and apply to that load only. If you were to reload without changes, it would be the base program again.

Use 'select' and 'cancel' to go through the options and load the tune and be done for now.

thanks for the help yea i didnt want to change anything i was just curious, however i dont understand what the "keep previously entered options" message means...is it to load the tune thats there or is it if i wanted to change something or is it just keeping the stock tune in there? im a little confused becuase the sct manual says stuff about the part where i can change the parameters but nothing about message of "keep previously entered options, i dont know if i should hit select or cancel...

select.

You have no previously loaded parameters, so it won't matter.

I guess they've added the option to reload previously changed parameters. Used to be if you wanted to say change your fuel percent, you'd change it, then load it. Then if you wanted to change shift firmness, you'd have to remember your fuel percent change AND change the firmness, then load. Guess now you can recall previous changes and just make another. Much less of a PITA.

Try not to over-think this....

The tuner has evolved faster than it's packaging!!
