Is anyone interested in these new billet aluminum control arms that Reinhart is offering in a group buy? They are offering the arms in a group buy of 10 sets at 379 each, or individual set sales at $400 each. They are not metcos but they look really cool!!!!! IF you are interested get ahold of reinhart!http://www.mercurymarauder.net/showcase/files/4/6/DSC00024_861257.JPG

I think these are beautiful pieces. Are the bushing poly-urethane. And do they have to be maintained.

Yes they are polyurethane, they are from energy suspension and are graphite impregnated. No, they do not need maintenance and they do not have grease fittings

I don't understand...what's the purpose of these control arms if they aren't as strong as Zack's or Metco's? For looks? They cost the same...who's gonna look under my car at the control arms? They sure do look awesome though!

I don't think he said they weren't as strong, he just said they weren't Metco's. Otherwise I don't think Reinhart would have them. Hell I could be mistaken, but going by the description, they sound strong enough, better than the stock ones anyway :)

Ohh don't be misled, they are infact weaker than the Metco arms. The metco arms are solid bars of billet aluminum, these have holes and pockets to lighten them up. They are weaker than Metco arms. But they are massively stronger than stock and more than strong enough to handle whatever you throw at them. As for the PHP arms I couldn't say because I don't know what they are capable of. But These are are much stronger than stock and lighter than metco arms. Besides, i think they are much sexier than the others. And you can see them from the outside of the car.

My $400 worth is just get the Metco control arms. They are proven, work like crazy AND are FITTED WITH GREASE FITTINGS. Graphite impregnated is a poor second choice for bushings that do this much work and have this much exposure to road contaminants. They are pretty but that is a secondary consideration in my opinion. True, they don't have grease fittings. If you call and talk to Don Ham at energy suspension, He will tell you that the vast majority of bushing noise comes from improper bushing preload, and that a properly designed bushing that is greased prior to assembly should be maintenance free for the life of the bushing. But your right, the Metco arms are proven. And are $445 as opposed to $379.00. My 2 cents worth is the these will perform exactly as the metco's do.

Thanks for the terrific offer.

Concerning these, I don't like the looks of them as much as if they had been 'x'd. The donut holes, and drilled out areas make it look like a bracelet.

To me they look 'pimp'. Somebody should gold plate them.

What I'm really looking for are some with heim ends on them, that can be adjusted, so I can set my pinion angle. Even better, a setup that would allow us to adjust our instant center. That would be THE TICKET.
