well, I finally made it to the track. I dont have a bottle heater yet and I think that may help considerably. Anyways, leaving the line it was spinning in first and I let off and got on it again. This happend everypass. I am useing the zex traction control module. nitrous on at 3500rpm and off at 5900rpm. also, its 125 shot. here are the details. remember I was spinning and let off in the 60' and still managed a good sixty foot. stock rears also.
60'= 1.936
330= 5.436
1/8= 8.319
mph= 84.77
1000= 10.831
1/4= 12.910
mph= 105.82
So, All in all I was pretty happy with that. But I know its got more in it. I just need to redo the tune (mostly the trans part of it).

GREAT GOING SABTAJ!
12 seconds. WOW!
Is there a way to activate it only in 2nd gear?
Also, SAB, I wanted to ask you how you like your delete tips? I respect your opinion (I should have listened to you on my J-MOD, remember:o) and now want more bark. Did you extend the tips, or leave them in stock location? Is it too loud? Thanks,

Works great when the tank is full. :rolleyes:
I found out yesterday that a 125 shot with an empty tank yields a whopping 15.8 at 64mph. :lol:
Good numbers for sure. I need to try again before the year is over. I used to run 12.4 on a 75 shot. I really curious what 125 will do on a good motor.

good numbers dude ,what kind of bottle pressure did you have ,remember you want 900-950 otherwise spraying under that it goes fuel rich and kills hp

no pressure gauge or bottle heater. Dont think it had good pressure either. was a cold bottle

you need both ,when using spray those are the most important things
This is great news. I am impressed that you cut a 12.9 with spinning tyres.
I am going to the strip this Friday if the weather is cool. I filled the bottle today and will put in fresh copper plugs this week. With the info on bottle pressure and temperature I should cut a 13.4. I'm hoping. If the car does better I'll faint.
A couple of discussion points, if your spinning tires and the T/C is set at 3500, would you be better off to set the T/C at 4K until you get suitable tires underneath the car?
Second, where is your rev limiter or highest shift point set? If your T/C is set to cut off at 5.9K does the car shift before that? The reason I ask is because I'm wondering if your nitrous system is turning off and on during the run or every time the tach hit 5.9k (which I think is the stock shift point)
Thanks,
Pat

Yes the spray was turning off before the shift. And then back on after the shift. Personally I would set the T/C unit to come on at 3200 and shut off at 6000. I think this would be ideal. As for I have been playing with it more. This seems to feel the best. I think my shift schedule needs to be reworked. I think with all of this done with good tires I should be able to see 12.40. I think its very possible. I am interested to see how you do. The reason I say that about the shift schedule is my first pass was 13.5 and the shifting felt weird so I made a couple adjustments and the went 12.9 and dropped 6 tenths just doin that.

i had mine set at 3000 at first and seemed to hook really well on the street with 275s out back ,2600 it would blow the tires off but hook pretty quick ,around 3000 seems to be the best for these cars

275's? what tires were you useing? I am just running the stockers. I can afford to have the rears widened but cant afford the nitto's to go with it. owell.

You have an XCal2 or a Live Wire right? Don't want to pry into secrets, but if can, tell me what adjustments exactly did you make?
I have an XCal1 and can't change anything.

I have an xcal 2. I only made minor adjustments becouse I didnt have my laptop. I dropped the mph for each shift 1-2 2-3. Just to see if it would make a difference. and it did. It just felt funny when shifting. It still doesnt feel right but its better for sure.
