I've been contemplating the purchase of the remote start system listed in the reviews section. Does anyone know, since I have the alarm and remote entry system already, does this system add on to what I have or does it replace the system I have right now? Leaving me with alarm, remote entry AND remote start?

I installed an aftermarket remote start system. Works very well in conjunction with the factory anti-theft system.

I have a ford remote start on my Marauder....I know you can still use the other key pads to unlock and lock and open the trunk but it will not dissarm the alarm.
You can have the alarm turned off with an aftermarket remote start. If you are interested in one PM me.

Hmm..that's not what I was hoping for.
It says here (http://www.ford-parts-direct.com/productDetail.cfm?productID=37 17&categoryID=23&productTypeID=5)
PowerCode. Remote Start Only. Enjoy the comfort and convenience of a pre-warmed or pre-cooled vehicle. Systems start vehicle from up to 500 ft. (150 m) away, and ensure that it's locked and that its security system (if equipped) is armed. Comes with two remote transmitters. Available for automatic transmissions only. Dealer installation recommended.Requires SecuriLock Kit 1L3Z-19G365-AB. Fits years 2003 - 2006.
But other than that, not much else to go on.
I was trying to avoid an aftermarket system just because I'd rather cut as little as possible.

OEM starters keep the value and originality of the product, IMHO
