I want to install a inline temp sending unit in the transmission line. I don't think I want to tap the pan. What side trans line is used in or out side ? My guess would be out? I have only found the lines to be made of plastic from temp sensor to gauge. What have other members used ? I also want a oem look alike white face gauge and mount it wre the cig lighter is located. Who makes one ?

Use the out line NOT the inline. THe 'in' line will give you COOLED temps, not INTERNAL temp.
Go to Autometer.com, and check out all the styles you can choose from. You will see our factory ULTRALITE models there, as well. I hate them, because I can't see them at night time, and don't match the factory gauges.
Some members are getting the much better, LED backlighted ULTRALITE IIs, but they are very limited to the gauges you can obtain.
I plan on using black COMP style autometer gauges, because they have EVERYTHING in that one line, and they match the factory gauges, and hopefully are more visible at night time

or the AEROFORCE one. I am very glad I bought the aeroforce one. But the scangauge is cheaper but the aeroforce is the same size as the other factory gauges. LOVE IT!
