This weekend at the Ford show I attended, there was a lot of talk about the factory build sheet that is hidden within cars. I know cars from the 60's you were able to find them under the seats and some have been found up in the headliner.
Has anyone found their build sheet or is that a thing of the past?

I pulled my backseat cushion out and looked under the front seats but no luck, maybe someone who went a step further found it.

I've had both front seats out and the back seat and cushion out.... no build sheet to be found.

I believe that this question was raised long ago and answered by someone who worked in the plant. Bottomline was that no hardcopy/paper sheets were left in our Marauders. None found to date that I am aware of.
That said, during Marauderville III in Detroit, many of us visited the famous Rouge Plant for a tour. On the assembly line, build sheets were clearly visible on the Ford F-150 line. Three white sheets with black printing were attached/taped to the front, interior, and the back of the cab. About every 25th vehicle or so were bodies with Black sheets with white writing. These vehicles would be outfitted differently and come out at the other end of the line as Lincoln Mark LT pick-ups. So, the build sheets are still used on the line. They just don't get hidden in the vehicle anymore from what I understand.
