Ah, yes. The Bondurant Vics. They were sold to the public when Bondurant started using GM products.

Nice cars but as the ad mentions, they are not street legal.

These are not street legal cars and cannot be registered legally for use on public roads. They only come with bills of sale and no title, please do not ask if it is possible to get one or if they can be converted back to street legal cars, the answer is no to both!!!!These are not street legal cars and cannot be registered legally for use on public roads. If you already have a 1999 Crown Vic, or at least it's VIN Plate....

Hmmmm.....

:D

Or.... if you already have a 1999 Black Crown Vic, put it's plates on this. If you get pulled over.... do you REALLY think they will check the VIN???

:D

Man if I only had the money to snag one. Does anyone know how many there are left for sale?

I would contact them directly if you are interested. The school is selling them for way less than $20k. I see to remember getting an email and the price was below $10k. Send me a PM and I will forward you the email that has the contact information of Dan Dineson.

Why arnt they street legal?

Because roush built them as race cars, and gutted out alot of the street legal stuff. They are purpose built race cars and race cars only. Which sucks, they are so friggin cool :(

There's no emission controls, no cats, things of that sort to make it illegal.

Directly out of a 99

Were the 99's supercharged? I dont see why it'd have that nice fancy intake manifold that looks like an opposite of ours, but with the cobra on top.

No, '99/'01 Cobra's weren't blown. Just had the 32v DOHC 4v in them.

Yea, it is the same one. They're asking more for it on eBay than they are on the other website. Crooks!

Also too I just realized. As much as I would want one of these, what the hell would you do with a car that is un-registerable? Trailor it to shows/tracks? There's no fun in that!

Find a BIGGGGG Open parkinglot

I bet if you stuck your MM plates on it, no cops would pull you over in your neck of the woods.
