Took my first road trip. Freeway set the cruise at 80. 190 miles later gas gauge showed 1/2 a tank. I seriously thought the gauge had stopped working. I stopped for gas, took 9.0 gallons. Thats 21.3 mpg. That is great considering big car, big engine. Around town and slightly spirited driving I was averaging 13. Anyone who complains about the Marauders gas mileage is crazy.

It was really a 192 miles. Not 190, for the math.

I might as well drive a Kenworth. Tires are more available and it gets the same fuel mileage.

I got 24mpg on the highway on a trip to michigan a week after I bought my car and that was with the windows down and A/C pumping, as dumb as it sounds yes im serious...It was hot out so the a/c was on, but i like cruising with the windows down...so it felt like a cool breeze in the car:P

I recently went from St. Louis to Branson Mo. Not sure how long of a drive it was but I got really good mileage on the way there and back. I think I got close to 200 miles to a half tank of gas. Once in Branson mileage took a dump tho. Too much stop and go traffic and tooooooo mannnnyyy hills.
My MM's road mileage ran about 21 MPG @ 70 MPH when newer. Now at 50K it's more like 24, same speed, same interstate between same cities.

I get 21-22 on good days when I drive with windows down + od off in slower speeds; also run with a/c on freeway or speeds greater than 45. When I am with car club members or trying to tail s/c car club members I might get 14-16 mpg. State to state I usualy get like 26-28 mpg doing 75-80.

Hence the reason why our car is the ultimate cruiser car. I get usually 16mpg around town and 20-22mpg highway (with a/c on and high rate of speed lol).
