With the mileage this car has, combined with the color, this will be a true test of a BLUE MM value. ;)

I see overspray on the tailpipe, which indicates damage and repainting.

That may be an optical illusion, he said the exhaust wasn't factory?? I'd like to have it. Maybe he'd trade for a yellow 951 Turbo that seems to be nothing but a backyard lawnmower hazard...

Zack may be on to something. Perhaps get someone to run the VIN through CarFax. It'd make a nice DD though if I had the spare cash.

Low mileage, high mileage, whats the difference?

If you want to see a low number on the dash, buy a junkyard instrument cluster thats numerically low.

If you were to resell one that the mileage was not accurately represented.
You could face serious fines and / or prison.

Why 89k miles.

Because the little dials on the odometer turned once each mile the car was driven?:D

Since only 328 Blue MMs were produced, odds of now finding thet 'elusive' low mileage, only driven on Sundays' DBP MM are starting to get VERY Loooooong IMHO! Ours now has 52K and the first year it sat in the garage most of the time. We bought it in July '03. FWIW.

If I wasn't on the road until the 27th I would drive over and check that Blue out. Even with the miles, it is a good deal for the money. I would love to have one and leave it all stock (well mostly stock).:D

Good, Bad or Ugly.... I bought this car.:D
Ran 2 checks on it: Carfax and AutoCheck.

Car came back as blue on both title transfers.

No damage history with one exception: A police report with Miami-Dade County for a cracked windshield from pavement debris.(Interesting that it did not show up on the Carfax report but was on the AutoCheck. I will always run both from now on when buying a car).

I called the seller and asked about the apparent blue overspray and he said the car had never been painted as long as he owned it and he knew of no prior damage. (After closer examination of the picture you can see a blue tint to the pavement next to the wheel...probably the result of a flash reflection....unless he was touching up the paint in the parking lot!)

Asked about ANY accidents and he volunteered the info. about the rock in the windshield (Did not disclose my prior knowledge of the incident). Said the insurance company wanted to do a repair to the windshield but he insisted on a new windshield which was installed. Seems like a straight up guy.

Don't know if you fella's remember but I bought Bill Hall's wrecked Kenny Brown. Tried to repair it but too many complications: Could not get a straight answer on resurrecting the salvage title. I did not want to put 5-7K in repairing it and still have a salvage vehicle. Also very hard to insure with that type of title and if I had a loss then they would really devalue the claim.

I am going to transfer the S/C and brakes to this MM. I have all the parts I purchased to rebuild the KB so I will list them for sale on this site.
Also will part out the other car together with some of the KB parts including the 4.10(?) rear and torque converter.
