it was rainin last night so i was like ok ill power brake it a lil since the tires wont burn off as much. i just like to feel the ass end slide lol. anyway i took the traction control off and started to power brake it a lilttle and it acted liek the t/c was still on? so i said ahh forget it next thing i know i looked at the dash and the lil traction control light was on (the little car like sliding) and the abs light came on. i was pretty worried at this point so i threw the car in nutral and shut it off then i restarted it and both lights went out and havent came back sence. anyone else ever have this happen?

No. Could be because I don't have T/C anyways lol. :D

I had this happen to me in my 98 Lincoln Continental not too long ago. I wasn't doing a burnout or anything, but the traction control and ABS light would come on, and go away with a restart. I did two things and havent seen it happen since. First I sprayed inside my wheeles and all over the brakes with water when giving it a wash. I thought maybe some mud got dried up in there. Second I added some brake fluid (it was just a hair low). After I took it for a drive to dry the brakes it went away. Not sure if it was one thing or both as I did all that at the same time. Been about 2 weeks and no more lights.

There is a simple answer for this, but I don't completely know it. I do not believe you can fully turn off the traction control or something like that. :help:

I don't have traction control so I don't know the cause of your problem. Someone here knows....
