Removing center consol rear heater panel?

Anyone know how to remove the center consol rear plastic panel where the grill is for the rear heater ? I first tried to remove the center piece where the consol opens whith no luck. The previous owner some how broke out one of the plastic grill pieces and I would like to replace that piece. Any help would be appreciated.

lift straight up on your center console container inner liner, lid and all. It comes straight up with pop clips. You'll see the screws under it to proceed.

Removed the plastic grill piece. Easy 4 torx screws hold it on. Called Ford and the parts guy said that piece is not available by itself. He said you have to buy the entire consol for $644.00. The only part number on the grill piece is VH5122 T/N825634 ABS. If there are any Ford ,Mercury parts department members on the list, is this true? Looks like the old one is going back on. Seems to me if a part can be removed it should have its own part # and be available.
