It might as well have been a parts car. I dont even know if it was good for that! Nothin in it worked. I almost shed a tear i felt so bad for the car.
Another one lost...it was hit at every possible angle. Here are the pics.
IF YOU LIVE IN THE NEW YORK AREA AND FIND THIS ONE ON CRAIGSLIST DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT LOOKING AT IT

Learning what? Youre saying its not an 04?
No, I simply noticed it has a gas door button, not common to 04's.
So it has to be added on, or its a painted 03.
OR: it has a replacement door panel

The marking on the engine is what you see on parts from a salvage yard. Also notice the coolant is green not gold.

The owner should be ashamed for what they've done. They should be made to drive a 10 year-old Neon until they appreciate a car like the Marauder.

You say this car was "hit at every possible angle"...do you mean it was in some sort of heinous collision and repaired badly?
In most of the close-ups, I'm not even sure what it is I'm supposed to be looking for...

That drivers seat does not look like a 13K seat to me, a little too much wear on seat bottom and lower back area.

Yea It looks much worse than mine, I have 50K and Im a pretty big guy. The rear tires look like they would at 13K, however the fronts look newer. I didnt HAVE to replace my fronts until about 28K.. the new front rubber looks like it already has a battle scar anyway.. :(

Poor, poor car. Someone adopt it and give it a good loving home.
is this the craigslist ad that said "paint needs a touch up because it was sitting under a tarp for a long time" ? I saw that a few days ago, but didn't want to go all the way to ny to check it out.

I am having problems believing that mileage based on the wear of the seat.

For the right money it would be a good donor car for my CVPI... ;)
I know, what a waste, but someone already took car of abusing the car. And I agree, the interior and seats look like way more than 13,000+ showing on the odometer. While my driver's seat has some wear to it, it is nothing like that one. That one actually makes mine look new - which is how the rest of my interior looks.
Yeah, I would like to have that one as a donor car.

Who knows...I have seen 150k cars with less wear in the seats.

in case this isnt a sarcastic comment, i did have a pic of the clock showing 13k.
The price he was asking was $13, or it may have been $14k. I dunno - but all i know is i wasnt interested in the car for anything more than $7k.

Heres the ad 2004 MERCURY MARAUDER 13K MILES (http://newyork.craigslist.org/stn/car/442587679.html)
I pointed this out to Lenny as a good startup Marauder. I wanted to go see it with him but I was stuck as work.
From what he told me, It drives great, plenty of power and handled good too, just everything in the interior rattled.

the dealership did my coolant when my thermostat went... its green, says its the stuff that mixs with all colors. is this bad?

i too have this blue "eject" button. its actually an alarm light. if he has the same system i have, which runs about 5 different alarms on the MM, its really nice. i guess somethin has to be:P

Having seen 'flood' cars, the rust across the top of the parking brake pedal suggests to me that the car was in water up to just below the rust.

You were close! But that is a reflection of the interior light on the brake pedal.
