Went to a local dyno rental day, $60 for 3 pulls with AFR. Well of course nothing goes as planned, their graphing and AFR programs didn't want to work.

PowerDyne Mustang Dyno
Max HP: 282.2 @ 5662 RPM
w/ WCF: 278.5
Max TQ: 313.8 @ 1960 RPM
w/ WCF: 309.4

As you watch you can clearly hear the car bog down, I was running the 3rd gear trans lock tune from DR but my car also does this regardless when I try to go WOT at the track with my current performance tune, torque converter just loves to lock up at 37mph. I did find out my car will hit 149mph in 3rd @ 6391 RPM lol.

If your max torque was achieved at less than 2000 rpm, that does not sound right.
Do you have any ET's with the current mod list?
Your car sounds excellent, thanks for the vids!

Thank you, everyone at the meet was pleased by it especially when it got in loudness range and the resonating sound was matching the vibration of the floor and the two crazy burnouts I did afterwards which I need to get the videos from one of the guys still.

With current mods my best was 14.40 @ 98.xx mph. Minus the 3500 stall, PHP intake spacer, and suspension stuff my best to date is a 14.25 @ 98.21mph. Just normal driving is a headache because of the low mph tq lock up and trying to merge into traffic and the car not moving anywhere.

If you did not pick up 3-5 tenths in the 1/4 mi. with the converter, something is not right.
I would get a tune from Lidio , you will love the way your car responds.

:loco: No way a Marauder will hit 170 as is, or even moderately modded.

Here is how you get rid of the converter lock-up under WOT. See attached screen shot from the SCT Extreme Tune program. As you can see, I would have to be going over 100 mph in 2nd gear and over 130 mph in 3rd gear to lock the converter.

Does a tq converter reduce the driveline loss? So in theory you would gain power from installing one?

That's a good question, I have no clue especially if the converter is not in tune with the rest of the car.

Yeah it's possible, only the silver ones can do it though lol.
