Is their any upgrade kit that will fit with 16" steel wheels?

I broke down and got the rear set up from Todd, made a big difference by using pads to adjust the front= rear bias, still this is a heavy pig and I have a ways to go till I have Viper brakes. Tom

I'd be interested (of course price would be a factor) on a front brake upgrade.

Why doesn't Todd respond to group buy requests?
Just say yes or no!

I have, a number of times. The answer is yes if we can iron out the normal requirements that make it worthwhile to do.

From the TCE policies page:

Group Buys: To get the most out of a GB the parties involved must consider one or all of the following: order deadline, minimum quantities, prepayment, no Credit Cards, and one location drop ship. By combining all of these we can then expedite the order smoother and pass the savings onto you. GB's requiring individual shipping, different payments, etc. cost more to manage and the price not as deeply discounted. We will honor individual shipping and CC sales of course at an appropriate cost. Minimum order quantity; five or more kits. All GBs are on an individual basis, TCE makes no promise of identical kits or pricing to other purchasers.

I'm happy to consider a GB of five or more kits at a marginal discount. Or you can purchase one at a time now and get a second set of pads with each kit order- up to a $186 value in this case. I'll be happy to come up with a flat % discount (free pads not included) for an order of five individual or more sales.

To me that's not a group buy. It's just a sale price. Look back not too far and you'll see I put up a discount sale price not long ago. A true GB is one that I did recently on a MINI deal where 6 kits were shipped 'en mass' to one destination and paid for by one check. Bulk shipping, one location and no single packaging requirements. And no 3-3.5% CC or PP fee. These fees, advertising costs and the shipping hassles amount to over 5% of the cost in my mind so if a discount were to be 15% without any stipulations it's true cost to me is 20%. I'd love to tell you that you can have these at 20% off and take a huge order but it's simply not going to happen.

Well count me in for a Front set Todd.

The whole GB thing is a world different on $1800 products than on $200 ones. Reality is that for those who cannot afford it at the current price a 10% sale price is still not that attractive. No disrespect here, I'm just sharing my experiences. I'll get you some numbers tomorrow.

BTW, no can do on the 16" wheel.

16" rotors...sure I can do that.

Ok...I reviewed all the data and I'm going to drop the list price down to a $1559 base price.

http://www.tceperformanceproducts.com/cgi-bin/brakes/cginews.pl?record=11

I'll also offer TWO kits with custom 12 bolt rotor hats for an addtional $150 off. The normal hats are 8 bolt, these are a bit larger OD and 12 bolt. *I might be able to come up with a third set.

Build time will be a bit longer as I'll only order rotors for this design once the sale is complete. Factor about 2-3wks. First come, first served on this deal.

Black calipers, slotted rotors, final cost $1409.
(options list still available such as color finish and cross drilled)

How long will this price stand?

Todd TCE

The "new low price"; until there's really a need to change it.

The "special $150 discount"; there's one set of these hats left.

Two sets of rotors came in today for the custom hats. They are out for zinc on Monday.

Zack has the first set. Expect to go out on Wed.

Anyone else? What happened to the GB folks? This special here is $150 off the lower price. I don't recall the former list but we're down about $250 from just a few days ago. I was worried I'd need to come up with that sixth hat!
