View Full Version : John (TMF) You Were Right
I hotwired the Mezeire Pump to run right off the battery.
Problem Solved!
I WILL be installing the EMP that came yesterday for insurance. The temps, after a thorough 45 minute beating, never went above 204 degrees.
Being a total AssHat never felt so good! :D

Dayum Zack. Nice. Glad you got her fixed. I hope to see you at SSHS7 with her (and the car, too).
As I said in your other thread, the EMP pump is a purchase you will not regret!

Glad to hear. Wish I would have jumped on it before you fixed it. LOL

As an installer, I would like to know what you had it connected to or relayed to in order to cause it to lose power at WOT.
Inquiring minds and all....
I will look into that when I have time.

I understand, but let me hound you...
I assume you had it on a relay. It would have been grounded. Power then to the relay. Relay grounded and the relay signal would have come from??? It would have had to been a signal that was 'on' with ignition. Could it perhaps have been the same wire that control the alt turning off at WOT?
In other words, I'm curious if you 'stole' signal from a wire under the hood or had a separate wire run or whatever.
The alt signal makes the most sense to me. If that were the case, the 'fix' would be simply to attain ign signal from the inside fuse panel.
If you REALLY wanted to test (and I know you are burnt with this thing), run that wire you got signal from into the car and power a light with it. See if it turns off at WOT.
Glad you didn't let it kick your arse, tho!

My alternator was reprogrammed with Jerry W's big black box NEVER to shut off at WOT. That was back in 03.
im just as curious as you are, but am more curious to see what she runs!
