Dont you just hate it when that happens Tom. I would skip the vitamins and use the Steroids! No anti doping panel here.

Look them up. the MB is twin turbo V12, the Caddy was a 427cid. I got A Cobra at 14lbs of boost in Shamu and it ain't enough, time for a Whipple or Kenny Bell shot of vitamins.Tom

I recomend a KB28 shot at that will put them in LA LA land

Or just crank up the boost on your baby -- should be good for 18# at least.

Boost it up. Try to be as generous with the energy juice as you can. Do you own larger fuel injectors and do you have a tune yet.

I vote for the new Eaton TwinScrew with appropriate Fuel Injs and Hi-Flow Fuel Pump and try to run @18# of boost.
And, if you are adventuresome, P&P the Heads and get the FRPP cams.

Since when did Whipple and KB make bolt on blowers for our cars?
If I was you, Id leave it alone and just not race those cars anymore.

Tom the only issue with a KB 2.8 is you have a stock cobra motor, lets pick a # 650 RWHP, that is 780 to the flywheel I feel its pushing the envelope, I am not saying its not done and yes I have seen articles where stock 03 Cobras have made even more but this is done with race gas and most of the time with stand alone EEC, We installed a Whipple on Marauder that PHP did a Cobra conversion on and that car and it was a monster on the street, and was running 11.5 at the track, the other thing about your car is the gearing you have the car set up for extreme top end, if you went to a lower gear ratio I feel you would smoke there A@@@####!!!! as is.

I don't know what speeds you were racing but I assume it was at the 1/4 mile track.
If you want to beat them in the 1/4 Dennis is right set your car up for the 1/4and you will beat them.

Sorry I'm a street blaster. I had the 3000 stall and the 4:10's, felt great and matched the Vortech and had the top end. But alas I have lowly Cobra with 1800 stall and 3:27's with 430rwt all in at 2000rpm that hooks with less fuss, enough to stomp on the Neighbor's Shelby. Gordon says Eaton is coming out with a twin screw, I'll have to look into that and report. Tom
