I bought these a while back on a whim, but I really dont need them.
They are freshly rebuilt from Naake with all the documentation to prove it.
I took them out of the box to take the pics.
I just want what I have on them, which was a steal.
$400 shipped. Normal retail is over $1049

I think they ere all rebuilt cause one shock was leaking.

Can they be used w/ the OEM spring height?

You should be able to adjust them to any hieght - most people tend to lower there cars a little but you don't have to.

Zack, do those springs have part #'s on them and if they do would you mind letting me know what they are?

Without me looking, I believe they are from a 1962 Chevy Naake Kit.
I heard that somewhere.

The reason I'm asking is that I had to take the QA-1 springs out and fab a lower spring mount to use the OEM coil springs. When installed, the springs supplied in my kit were "stacked" for the top 5 or 6 coils severely limiting suspension travel - the front end would bottom out with a loud bang going through even small potholes. When I removed the springs there was a continuous line of paint removed where the coils were in continuous contact from the "stacked" condition.
I was wondering if the coils supplied with my kit were the right ones or not. I have to get out to the garage and see what the #'s are on mine.

My fronts need rebuilt. Is this cheaper than having them redone? I don't need the rears and would be willing to work with someone if they want to buy the backs.

John, I'll work with ya on the backs. The only reason I'm considering is future tire clearance.

Let me know.

I've been doing som research. NAAKE will rebuild the shock for $45. While it would be nice to have a spare set ready to go, I don't need the coils. Anyone splitting up the kit would need the fronts with the coils. Now, I'd give $100 for the front shocks but $225 for a rear pair might be too steep.

Of course, if Zack brings the price down to $200 then we can split it up and go from there...

I might go to 150 for the rears if Zack wants to go this route.
