I have a low Idle problem with my Marauder. It is stock as far as I know, I'm the second owner.

I have stalled my Marauder once, and almost stalled it three other times.
This happens when the steering wheel is turned and I'm idling in gear.

I have had it checked, no codes are coming up.

MAF
IAC
Check out good.

Throttle body had some carbon build up and was cleaned.

Checked

Spark plugs
Power steering transducer

These checked out good.

I have had a MotorVac
intake clean.
fuel injection clean.

When I am in park or neutral my Maruader idles at about 550 to 600 RPM.
When in drive my Marauder idles at or just below 500 RPM.

my local mechanic did find a Ford TSB (not sure the number)
"TSB for Varibale Assist power steering module containing symptoms for low battery voltage, RPM surging and Stalling."

No Dtc's Set No fault found at this time. (not sure what this means)

They recommend a Re-programme of the PCM.

What would you recommend?

Do you sell a "tune" or "tuner" that can accomplish this?
or is better?

Thank you.

I've had the same issue as well. Low-speed turning is when it happens.

It happened during rush-hour when I was manuvering through slow-moving traffic. It also happened as I pulled around to my friend's car in a parking lot right after I started the car. As far as I can tell, it happens whether or not the engine is warmed-up. It would happen infrequently, like every few thousand miles or so. Some other members had some suggestions that might help on a previous thread from about a year ago. Do a search for low-idle or stalling, and it should come up.

I kept complaining to the dealer about it, and they still haven't resolved it. At the 30K check-up, the Marauder even stalled on the mechanic, just as he was driving up to drop off the car. I pointed this out to the service manager and he promised me a blackbox. I inquired a few more times about the blackbox, but still no reply. (This is Serramonte Ford by the way, listed in the FRPP catalog. Friendly folks but not very good at handling issues.) Not sure how your dealer would handle it, but probably better than mine.

Anyway, I got Lidio's tune, which I heard raises the idle RPM to somewhere above 600-750. (Not sure of the actual numbers.) Been driving around with the tune for around 1500 miles so far, no stalling/bogging issues.

When you get the tuner from DR, you can use it to adjust the Idle in Drive and the Idle in Park/Neutral to your liking.

The DR website lists three such tuners or chips or whatnots. Which of these are you talking about?

xcal2 567890

So the Xcal2 comes with a tune loaded and the stock settings, but does it disable the Torque Converter Lockup like a Lidio tune?

I would say its the IAC it may need cleaned or its bad a quick check is start the car let it warm up look at the tach and then turn the AC on, the idle should raise a min of 200 RPM
