Had heard about a Silver Birch MM making the morning commute up I-95 in the morning; but have never seen him. Today I did. Don't think that the owner is a member here.

Pulled up behind him on the Occoquan River bridge and made the exit to US 1 north. Traffic was heavy. Got up alongside him once but couldn't catch his attention. Gave him a wave out the window as my lane moved forward--hoping to catch his eye.

His car gave a major-sustained valve rattle when he accelerated under load. He either got a very bad batch of gas or he is trying to save a couple nickels by using 87 Octane. Car looks to need a little TLC too (I can say that now since mine is back to being clean and shiney again ;) )

Wanted to get alongside him so I could pass on MM.Net info to him & let him know about the "rattle" -- but I am sure he knows about it. Can't miss it.

Hope he checks in here so we can put him on the straight and narrow and on the way to 93 before a major problem occurs. :D
