Those are useless to someone who doesn't have a MM lol. Or spare rims for that matter to throw those in.

I thought they were $40 from a deaelr which means at $165+shipping these are overpriced.

Overpriced by $5 when the dealer doesn't have them?

I thought dealers still had 'em -- they don't?
That would change things if they're not readily available.

you should be able to get any Marauder part from Ford for 10 years after production ended?

Tires should be available. Fronts are, and rears I'm told are in production

Marauder parts are becoming more and more rare. You know - since every kid with a retired Taxi or Police car wants to make a Marauder out of it. I might buy those and have them in case mine are pilfered by a dead man.

i am in total agreement with you tires SHOULD be available. rears have been on back order for months.
BFG told me they are in production also. who knows what that means? how long before they hit the street. i guess no one has made enough of a stink about it for them to do anything about it.

If I go to my local dealer tomorrow to order a wheel center cap, will they say which of the following:
1.) OK, sure, here you go. Please give us some money before you leave.
2.) OK, but we'll have to order from the warehouse, 1-2 days it'll be here
3.) Oh...geez, um, hey we have one in Butte Montana, I think, lemme call there, and see, might be a while...
4.) A what's head center cap?
5.) Um, sorry, we don't carry those anymore, and no more in stock.

i understand their are alternatives to stock. if i am not mistaken all of them are different sizes and tread patterns. we should be able to get the stock tire in stock size no problem.

Yes. Fronts are on sale at Tire Rack. At least they are a common size, and OEM on more than just the Marauder.
Rears unfortunately are a size only the Marauder uses. That production run should be ready for sale soon........

My dealer told me that Ford only has to supply parts directly related to safety for 5 years--anything else, 3 years--guess how long the Marauder has been out--figuring the last produced in July of ' 04????

I did quick check at a parts site (3W3Z-1130-AB). I don't thing they are a vendor here ((so won't name them)) and they have the center caps for $31.37. This same site is run by a dealership.
Why pay more when you can pay less for the same thing?

I just checked online with Ford and there are 48 of them in their Memphis depot and they are roughly $43 each.
Like someone said, how rare are they really to the less than full run of MM's left in the world?
Our front tires will be around for awhile since Ford is using the same tire for Mustangs with 18" wheels. I wonder what
a Mustang would look like with the same size MM tire on the back? Hmm? Might be able to get a picture of that when I put my snow kickers on.

you should be able to get any Marauder part from Ford for 10 years after production ended? Not so! When I had my accident I asked the dealer about that. They said that Grand Marqis parts will be used if needed! All Marauder parts are out of production. What ever is in stock now is it baby... :(
