Does anyone know if the cross pin is directional, I recall a flat side on the pin...

The flats are there for side gear clearance. I am "pretty" sure it will only go back in one way...

I don't recall myself, will see this again this coming Thursday most likely. It seemed like the pin was rather loose and it could go in any which way.... I'll keep you posted, THX.

It can go in either way, but it will only work one way - the cross pin bolt is only on one side so make sure to line up the hole in the cross pin with the recess for the bolt in the carrier.
