Hello everyone. I have to drive down to Cheverly MD on Tuesday evening. I will be coming from north of Baltimore and should heading south of Baltimore around 6:00 P.M. MapQuest tells me to use the BW Parkway, but I was wondering if it would be better to take 95 at that time of day. Or, does it matter which road I take?

Thanks for the :help:

BTW I won't have my Marauder at that time - got to take the truck.

To be honest....BOTH roads SUCK southbound on a weekday AM.
Heavy traffic on either one, though recently the BW parkway has been really bad. The BW parkway is the more direct route.
I'd listen to the traffic reports and take the one that does NOT have an accident (if an accident free I-95 & BW parkway is possible on a DC morning commute:()

Personally, at 6 PM ... I would do neither I-95 or Route 295 (Batimore-Washington Parkway). If I was making that trip, I would come down from north of Baltimore on I-95 and take the old Harbor Tunnel (I-895) and then follow the signs for I-97 and MD Route 3 south. After you pass BWI airport and Benfield Road, slide to the right lane and take the exit for MD Route 3 south through Crofton and then pick up US 50 West to Cheverly. No problem.
