Three Years Today

It's my three year anniversary with the MM today, 10/22/07. I have to say it has been nearly trouble free. The only failures have been the heated seats switch lights and the dreaded Lighting Control Module (LCM) which failed at the very inconvenient time of the night before vacation this summer. It has only made that ONE trip to the dealer for that work. And, I have the original BFG tires on at 41,500 miles. The rears are about at the wear bars in the middle with more meat on the edges as is typical but at 41K that's not bad. The fronts have quite a bit of meat left (at least a year) and have very slight uneven wear on the inner edges from the factory toe-in adjustment problem. So I have the win-win of a car I REALLY like along with nearly trouble free performance. Jon

Happy anniversay, one I share with you. Three year's for me too!! Only major problem was air conditioning module. On my second set of OEM tires and use Kumho tires in the winter. With any luck I'll be able to get a beater and not have to worry about it this year.

Thanks for the replies. I think it is a useful data point to check in once a year a give an update. When I think about it this is the most trouble free 41K I've ever had on a car - go figure. I guess I got a good one!
