Having problems with an oil leak and trying to figure out where to begin. The leak appears to either be coming from the front seal or possibly the oil pan under the main pulley. The oil pan bolts generally have a couple of drops of oil on them that end up on my garage floor. I have changed the oil myself, cleaned everything to make sure it was not old oil from the last filter change. I am thinking it is the oil pan gasket but I also don't recall putting silicone on the key when I put the underdrives on. There is dried oil on the balancer and bolt. The only thing that makes me not think this is the issue is the oil leak just started a couple of months ago...almost 70k miles after I put the underdrives on. Any insights or suggestions?

Pull the lower puley, replace the seal and use silicone around the washer when you reinstall

Zack,

Thanks for the response. Do you know if I need to the special seal remover / installer tool or can it be done without it like most cars?

Thanks again

Screwdriver out, hammer and block of wood in.
