Going to buy marauder...tell me what you think. CARFAX?

ok i was interested in buying this 03 marauder and wanted to see what you guys thought about it since I happen to have no clue how much these cars are going for. Its an 03 marauder with 115000 miles...i went to see the the car and it is clean inside and out. Here it is posted on autotrader. I was just wondering if yall thought this is a good buy.

the VIN number was 2MEHM75V93X622301 and i was wondering if anyone could get me a carfax report on it. also what is this A and B model 300 some people post about. i was just curious.

HA! $12.5 for an MM with 115k? That guys out of his mind. Zack will probably chime in and give you a ballpark figure since he's good with that stuff, but I say no more $9k.

Also, the pictures are kind of hard to go buy to see if it's an A or B, but to me judging by the gas door, it's an A since I don't see a finger to pull the door open. But the spare in the trunk tells me it's a B since it doesn't look like a full spare.

it had an electronic fuel door opener..... but i didnt really take a look at the spare.

so 11,500 would be around good? he said they were nothing but highway miles. care really seemed to be taken care of. he actually had another marauder with like 13000 miles that his mom was driving.

could anyone do me a favor and run a carfax report and see if they find anything?

That car was sold in San Antonio by NPLM with 60K at the end of 04, with 60K on it, a week before I bought my DTR. Sold for $17,100. So in 3 years she's put around 55K on it. Clean Carfax but you would be the 4th owner. 1st owner had it for 1 yr, 9 mos, put 53K on it. 2nd Owner had it for 4 mos and put 7K on it Shows to currently be registered to a lady owner in her 50s but judging by the ad it she may have bought it for her kid? Looks like they had some mods installed. Be very cautious of the car being driven hard.

actually they guy who is selling it was a man in his early thirties what seemed to me to be. He said to have had another marauder that he had supercharged, but wrecked it over time. and actually his mom (lady in her 50's) drives a black marauder just like it also, so im guessing they are trying to get rid of this one for some reason. any way i would know if it had been driven hard? loose suspension or something?
