Replaced Pcm And Now New Problems!!

i posted about a week ago about the flashing green OD light of doom, and was asking you guys what it could be. turned out it was a bad PCM. so that was replaced and everything was great for a day. now the car is cutting off intermittently, in drive or reverse at low speeds. the guy at the dealer said i need to put my predator tune back in because the idle isnt right for my mods. anyone think thats true? the other thing is the predator doesnt recognize the new PCM!!! so i cant put the custom tune back in! any help please!!!

dam that sucks, i was gunna say, u prolly need to upload your tune but if it wont read your predator, maybe theres something wrong the connectors, or a faulty new PCM

Contact the Tuner who you bought the predator from.

That's odd. Could the PCM be the wrong cache code? Or would that have not even worked if that was a different code than stock anyways?

Early on some MM had chaffe on the wiring harness, particularly on a head casting boss on the back of the head near the fire wall.

I cut a hose in half and glued it to the casting boss.

Do a search.

i think the predator not working has to do with the new pcm id. i think its newer software in the pcm that the predator doesnt recognize. but i still ask does the fact that the car cuts off sound right because of the tune not being in?

If you have the newest " '04 Calibration Code" in the PCM Diablo may not support it.....Call Diablo and see what they say??:cool:

If it is an '03 I would still call Diablo as they offer free lifetime updates!!!:beer:

thanks, i called diablo today(and was lucky enough to get through)and they said an update will be available in two weeks. I hope its a short two weeks...

maybe the guy maybe mistakenly gave u a MACH 1 PCM
