4r70w/4r75w TC interchange?

Do the 4r70 and 4r75 have interchangeable torque convertors. Not stock for stock, but can a TC made for a 4r70 work in a 4r75? As far as i can see they are the same tranny except for a few upgrades to the internals?

I believe the TC are the same.

Isnt it only a few hundred rpms higher? Plus some teflon coated internals. If you are going to go through the trouble of dropping the trans, I would think you might as well by a better convertor.

Yea, the stock '04 TC's are a bit better, but if I were upgrading, I'd go to a PI or Darrin.
