I thought someone had posted something on this a long time ago...but I can't find it....I remember someone saying that they had it pop rivited to the seat frame...
Well I think I've figured out why...
In front of the driver and passenger seat there is a flap that hangs down...
it should be turned back under the seat and anchored to something...
I mentioned it to the dealer several times, but it just never got done...
So upon investigation, it appears that the white nylon hook along the edge that should anchor to the seat frame is installed backwards...
I've attached a drawing that shows the existing conditions and a second drawing showing how the nylon hook would work if it were reversed...
Don't y'all think this was installed backwards...?
If y'all have already solved this...please excuss my re-hash of the issue....
This is on my 2004 Marauder...

The nylon "hook" is on correctly. If you change the orientation of the hook the seat cover won't be taut enough. To install it you need to fold the hook under itself, sort of like rolling up a piece of paper. It's hard to explain. I fixed mine this way........

Tools needed: sockets to remove the seat mounting bolts and nuts, drill & drill bit, rivet gun, rivets and washers.

Take the seat(s) out of the vehicle.
Turn them upside down.
Install the flap correctly.
Drill the correct size hole for the size rivets you are using (I used 1/8 x 3/4 long aluminum rivets and 1/8 washers) thru the fabric, nylon hook and metal seat frame.
Install the rivet and washer thru the fabric, nylon hook and frame, fastening the hook to the frame. Do this about 4 times across the frame.
Reinstall seats in car remembering to connect all the connectors.

I think I have some pics. If I find them I'll post them up here. I did my seats about 5 months ago... no prolems.

I had this same issue with the passenger seat on both my crown vic & my marauder. I just took my time & folded the flap back under the seat. It takes a little time but I didn't have to use any tools or remove the seats.

I did that 5 or 6 times..... I think the problem is the seat cover stretches over time plus my fat a$$ is in the seat causes the hook to become unfastened.
