i purchashed a sct programer and i got a tune from you a few months ago. well the promblem is that my car hesitates in 2nd gear around 3,500 -4000 rpms this happens from a dead stop during acceleration and around 40 to 50mph when ever i punch it but only in 2nd gear 60 and above there arent any problems. i posted a comment in the garage and a lot of the other members seem to think its something with the tune so if you have any solutions to my problem please help me becuse no one seems to know whats wrong my car:shake::bigcry:

You have the benefit of living right near Dennis. Call him on the phone and make an appointment. Much easier when the two of you talk directly to each other.

I think he is in Vegas @ SEMA. It might take him a little time to get back to you.

Your post was after shop closing and he's going to Atlanta for SSHS7. If I recall out last conversation correctly, he's probly on the road by now.
Anyways, The 'hesitation' is the torque converter locking and unlocking, I beleive. He put his latest (experimental, but still the final product) tranny tune in my car for me to try a couple weeks ago. Ask him to email you that tranny schedule tune. It works pretty good on the street. I'll be trying in out in Atlanta this weekend with him there.
In the mean time, download LiveLoad3 from SCT's site and get it installed on your computer and get a USB cable ready to use.

I was wondering if I was the only one that this happened to. I enjoy the hell out of my tune, but I wasn't sure if it was mechanical or the tune that wasn't just right.
I didn't want to call foul unless I knew for sure that the car was running correctly. I'll be bookmarking and following this thread so I might get mine fixed too.
Thanks
Julian

What else can you tell us about this new tranny tune? I am having the same issue just not as bad as before my tune.

Dennis,
Do you happen to have any further info? My car accelerates nicely from idle to redline in first gear and then accelerates nicely up to about 3400 rpm then bogs down from 3500-4500 rpm.
