Black MM in Charlotte

Spotted on I85 Service Road between Graham and Statesville. I've been working this area for better than 10 years and have seen this car twice now in the last 2 weeks.

Well it wasn't me--haven't had Red LIne Beauty out since getting her back home from Wilmington on the 21st last month.....and with only 9 post here...who are you anyway----whose "been working this area for 10 years".....Ive been riding up and down this area for 5 of them with my MM now and then to work off Harris Blvd...... If you see another Black MM and it has Red stripes on its side.....well that be me alright!!!

So tell us more about your self...do you have an MM?????????

and actually I've been working off exit 40 since September of 1996.

I posted because I'd like to purchase a MM sometime this spring.
Locally.
With so many going up for sale, I'd just like to have a few contacts. I live only a few miles from frdwrnch's old shop. (I understand he's moving on to better things) I'd like to purchase a silver one.

I'm 44 years old and am on my 3rd Crown Vic. An 01 LX, purchased new,now with many mods. I didn't jump on the MM's when they were introduced because I had a farm full of hot-rods and my CV was one of a kind around Charlotte anyway. I've since sold all but one muscle car, a 71 GS. I'll probably keep the CV for a while as well.
I came very close to purchasing a Black MM in New England from a member a couple of weeks ago but was sidelined in the hospital and am still recovering. Hence, why I'm waiting until spring.

So Marauderman, if I've taken your reply as being a little sarcastic and it wasn't intended to be that way, then I hope you'll forgive me when I say I have never seen your car in this area. I would remember a beautiful black car with a "red" stripe on it. Just not my taste.

Though I do not post much does not mean I don't monitor this board, I find it very helpful. Usually more gentleman-like than it's sister board.

Thier were at least 6 Marauder head north on I85 this weekend. SSHS7 was in Commerace G.A. You should have make the trip next year. :banana2:

I just moved down to Charlotte from Pennsylvania just about a month ago, and have a 2003 Marauder. I live near north lake mall, wonder if you spotted me?

Sorry, didn't mean to imply any sarcasm earlier ---was trying to implying that you said youv'e been around a long time but then again no one knew about you----anyway--good to know you are around--maybe we can meet some time---I usually drive my MM up pass you about once a month --weather permitting---

and OBTW--We , the Carolina Marauder group have in the past tried to meet on the second Saturday of each month---usually for lunch somewhere---but lately been struggling to get together due to several trading in their MM's and or moving out of the area---

We need to try and locate some new members----

After the holidays I will try and start the meets once again --look for announcements--we have had meets over various places in the state--but I'm looking for locals at the moment.........Tom

We , the Carolina Marauder group have in the past tried to meet on the second Saturday of each month---usually for lunch somewhere---but lately been struggling to get together due to several trading in their MM's and or moving out of the area---

We need to try and locate some new members----

After the holidays I will try and start the meets once again --look for announcements--we have had meets over various places in the state--but I'm looking for locals at the moment.........Tom

You may see my CV around, it's what I drive just about every day. Silver, honeycomb grill painted to match, chin spoiler, MM tips, tint, and Cobra wheels in the nicer weather. Everything else on, in, and under the car is heavily modded also, just not turbo'd or supercharged.
A little over 100k and still runs as good as, if not, better than new.

There is a car show in Raleigh on March 28, 29, & 30. I'll be showing my MM at the late model show on the 29th.
