Gorgeous Sunday morning, went to take a friend to breakfast. Approaching an intersection and had the green light all the way......All of a sudden a blur of green paint in front of me and I TBONE a late model F250. Dude never even slowed down, no skid marks.
Front end w/ the hardest part being the driver's side front got crunched. Grill, Hood, both doors and fenders and the airbags popped out.
Dude has no Ca. license. Did have one valid in Mexico and the cops said he does have insurance here. I only have liability but I do have uninsured motorist coverage. He admitted fault. Police report will show that as well.
Me: Banged up a little, cut on left forearm. Sore as hell. My passenger unaffected and the I hit was ok too. Going to the doc tomorrow and see how all this goes. Funny thing. I posted early in the week that I was turning 66666 miles and was scared to drive it. I made it 16 miles past that mark at least.
Basically, thankful and more than likely, screwed.
Thats the story so far.

Please keep us updated. I hope you are OK, and you get your medical bills paid. Don't give up on the car yet. They can perform miracles, these days. A lot of times, the insurance company will even give you a choice: cash out and send the car to the wrecking yard (or auction), or, have it fixed. If you really love your car, you may want to save it from the crusher...

A testament to the survivability of the Marauder occupants. Too bad the cars don't survive all that often.
Glad to hear that you are all right.

A link to 7 Marauders with in taxi distance.
One even has less than 2000 miles on it.
Oh dude, most sorry! The important thing is noone was hurt badly in the "Crash of the Titans". The car did what they do best - protect the occupants in a collision. From your description it sounds pretty bad. I hope everything turns out well and to your favor!
Best wishes,

Sorry to hear about your Marauder. :( Glad you are alright. Its a good thing that he didn't T-Bone you -- 1 second either way would have been different.

That really sucks. The good news is that there are some really decent "well equipped" Marauders for sale at reasonable prices at the moment if you want to step back into one.
Get well, put it behind ya, and buy another:beer:
Hope everything gets sorted out quickly, glad you are ok.

Exactly, several months ago I had just gone through an intersection and when I looked back I got the most sicken feeling in my stomach as a watched a white Ford Taurus that was following be a 100-200 ft back bounce off the front end of a semi truck that jumped their left turning red arrow. Glad you are ok and make sure you worry about yourself first before worrying about your car.

Glad to hear that you and your passanger made it out okay. Those big girls shure can take a hit, Quite impressive coming from an F250. Get some pictures up man...we all would like to see the extent of the damage...was it the driver or passanger side that was nailed? That 66666 came and got you anyway...Damn.:depress:

Glad you are ok, Traffic out here is brutal, Las Vegas was just rated as one of the top cities in the U.S. for Red light runners:mad2:..Riding the Harley keeps me very alert and pays off when the Marauder and I go out.
