Hello, my name is Scott.
User name - VIMA = Vancouver Island Marauder.
I've had my Marauder since 2006. Its been stored the last 2 years and I just now am getting it back on the road. I will be building it over time. This place is an AMAZING resource of info for a guy like me - well done.
I'll be posting updates and pics as i make my way down mod heaven...

Welcome aboard! Quite a few of us here in the GVRD, check the section here called Maple Leaf Marauders.

Hi everyone! My name is Christian, I'm from a little old farm town in western Pennsylvania, Saxonburg. And I just wanted to say thank you for adding me to the group! I'm probably the only redheaded stepchild of the group since I dont have a complete Marauder. (I am ironically actually a redheaded stepchild so I felt free to use that term) Haha I'm really looking forward to the advice from everyone on here to help me make the RaudXie as fast mean and cool as I can. Thanks again!

Hey Ya'll. I am a newby from central South Carolina. I'm afraid that Blurauder is right in my case. I was hoping that there would be more of the older Marauders here but most seem to be the newer models. My Marauder is a 1964 Montclair Marauder. 390 2bbl and Merc-O-Matic.

Welcome to the board! I have family in the Jones Corners area of Aiken County (with a Batesburg address and Saluda School District!?!?) but probably spend most of my time in Lexington County. If you see a DTR Marauder with a NC plate it's probably me. I consider your car 'historical' so do please take care of it!

Hi I'm new here. Got my marauder on MLK Jr Day this year and it goes great with my Impala SS. It needs a little love and I've already contacted fastblackmerc in regards to one of my issues. This place is quite the geyser of information so I'll try not to ask any questions that have already been answered. Can't wait to learn more about and do more with this bamf of a car

I'm Scott from Monteagle, TN. I bought a 2003 Marauder and 1926 Model T the same day. both all original The Marauder was planned, the Model T was totally unexpected, but both are blast to drive. The Marauder has 25K on it, planning to drive it out Vegas then up near Seattle next month. That trip will jump the mileage some!

Hello Everyone. New owner, just purchased 03 Black 1 owner 61,000 miles. Been looking for a while finally went for it. I have always been Ford/Lincoln Enthusiast. Below some of my past cars. Look forward to doing mods to the the car. I also attended SSHS 1, 2, 5 and 6. May have a few shots of Marauders that attended, not many as I was more into the Mark VII's then. But I can post what ones I have if you like.

Hey everyone. New member from NJ here. Bought the MM from a dealer in Illinois. One owner. Car has 89k miles. Very clean for being a 17 year old car. Already dropped a K&N, res delete tips from magnaflow, Super 44's but switching to aero 2525's. SCT X4 tuner with tune from Marty. 4.10 Gears. unfortunately after those mods the gas mileage went down the drain so i ended up getting an 06 Monte Carlo SS for my daily driver. Pics soon.

Hey everyone new member here. I just picked up my dads 03 Marauder that he got off the showroom floor. I look forward to seeing what everyone is doing with theirs. I’m in the process of getting my dads back to its former glory. His last few years he wasn’t able to maintain it like he did in the beginning and the military has kept me pretty far from home.

Congrats and welcome!

My son could only dream of such luck! Maybe if it were stock but not with the power mine is at. I could never live with myself if he were to get hurt.. Luckily my other son and daughter have zero interest. They only like it because it’s literally part of the family but that’s about it

Yeah my dads is pretty much stock outside of K&N filter. With him passing this past year it was too much for my mom so I bought it off her because I didn’t want to see it get sold off outside the family. It needs some cosmetic work for starters, it pretty much baked in the Texas sun for 18 years because they had a house without a garage. So the plan is to start there and upgrade performance after I get her looking back to her former glory.

Welcome and sorry to hear about your dad passing. Sounded like he had a tremendous interest in his Marauder and super cool you're keeping it running. As Bob mentioned, most of our Marauders are like a member of the family

You'll find lots of info and stuff here but don't hesitate to reach and create posts with any questions or anything. Looking forward to seeing progress!

Hey everyone, new member. Proud new owner of a 2003 Marauder with a Kenne Bell Supercharger. Was wondering if anyone might have some info. I just bought the car. It's got quite a list of custom parts and was built at a shop in Surrey BC. The shop won't give me much info beside the rwhp rating was 410 on their dyno. The car had a dead battery and the transmission seemed to be holding in each gear to about 4500 and then shifting hard. The more I've driven it in the past 2 weeks, it's now shifting normally and driving much better. It does have a custom tune from a diablosport intune I2020 tuner but the car feels lazy. When you stomp on the gas, it almost feels like it can't put the power to the ground. I was going to have it retuned but it drives perfectly when not trying to haul ass. If I drive normally, it runs out and drives fine. But when I floor it, it should be ripping the tires loose and it doesn't even spin them, with traction control on or off, same with OD. My thought is a bad torque converter? Anyone with more experience in these cars have any other ideas? Thanks y'all. I've always loved the Marauder. Soooo glad to finally have gotten one.

Good Morning,
I used to be on mm.net in the very beginning. I owned my Marauder since the end of 2002. Loved that car, but I sold it in 2014. Of course I regretted that decision. Well, turns out I had the opportunity to buy my old car back from the same gentleman who I sold it to. So, its back in Nevada and I am sorting it out. He misplaced the sct tuner for the trilogy kit so thats a problem im trying to work through. Lots of little things to do, but overall I'm very happy. Now I have to relearn all of the stuff I forgotten about. Its nice to see the forums again. All this information.

Thanks

Hello Everyone, been a member on here for a couple months, but have been too busy to post. No Marauder yet, but hoping to acquire one sometime in 2022 now that I will have space. Always loved the Marauder (1st car was a '99 Grand Marquis), and hoped to own one someday. The goal would be to slowly modify until it's a bullet proof, fast car (goal is to outrun my buddies Tesla Model 3 to show him he got the wrong car). Seems like the best was about doing that is finding a Trilogy kit, and going with a bit more aggressive tune than standard.

Anyways, all just speculation at this point. Will keep you updated on when I get my hands on one and start the build process. Don't know much about the 4v engines (done lots of work on Chevys), so will probably be hunting the site for tips and tricks. Thank you guys for the add!

So be sure to say hello and invite them out  I'm a new member from Ohio. The Marauder I have my brother, a GM worker, bought new in 2003. I gave him an A Plan when he purchased it. He passed away in 2016 and I bought it from the estate. I would like to find the build date and birth number on the car. I would also like to find a window sticker and build sheet if possible. Thanks to all who set up this forum and all that post. I have already used this site to work on my prize.

What's up, folks?

Thank you for accepting my join request! I bought my 03 Black Marauder about a week ago, after looking for a decent one for years. Let's say there weren't that many Canadian spec to begin with (I've heard only 470 or something made it here) and a lot of people didn't take much care of them, sadly. Luckily, I've met a widow from Ontario who wanted to finally get rid of her late husband's car, since it kept reminding her of him, but she would only sell to someone who would treat this car as well as he did.

I'm so happy with my purchase, still feels unreal! The car isn't perfect right now, it's been sitting, tires are dry-rotted, wheels are a bit scuffed, air suspension compressor doesn't kick in, need to check the bags/relay too, paint needs love/touch-ups, has no major rust since it was only taken out in the Summer and currently sits at 61.000 miles (or 98.100 km). I am researching a strange knock that becomes more pronounced as the car heats up, seems like it's coming from the transmission, not the engine. Not sure yet.

It will be my winter project and hopefully I'll be able to enjoy it next Spring/Summer!

Looking forward to talking with you guys!

Have a great weekend

Hello everybody!

I just recently bought my Uncles Marauder from my cousin since he passed away last month. It is a 2004 Silver version from So. California. Has a few things that need attention, mainly a tapping noise on startup that I've yet to locate the source of. Also one side sits lower in the rear than the other (airbag issue?) anyways its now in Tucson AZ (I ironically saw another silver one near my house just two weeks before taking possession of this one). It has 100,600 miles on the OD. My uncle purchased it new with 150 miles on it, everything is stock not a single modification made just used and enjoyed but noticed from the paperwork I found had only put on 20k since 2018, and since last december only 1000 miles on it, has been sitting for awhile. Any help is appreciated and I am really excited to start bring life back to this car and enjoying it with my family as a cruiser machine.

Congrats and Welcome to the site
