Saw a google car today

Drove my MM to work today, and turning into the last road before the office I passed by this odd looking Kia...had some sort of aluminum contraption on it's roof with a pole that went up about 5ft.

Realized what it was when I saw the "google" sticker on the door...it was one of the Google camera cars. They're taking high resolution street level shots to incorporate into Google Maps to augment the satellite imagery, maps, and directions you already get.

Good thing I lined my headliner with tinfoil.

so if i look on Google Earth will i see a MM somewhere?? lol

Wow, I had never heard of this before. Hope they have snow tires if they are coming up here :lol:
