What do you think about how many Marauders there are out there?

It is kind of an odd question.
I bought my Marauder not to make money but to have and drive a Marauder.
I did buy my Red one because it is going to be worth more than an ordinary black one in a few years, but that was just to justify the price I paid. I just like red cars.

agreed it is an odd question but like any car, some people just "recycle" cars... such as they buy the car for 2-3 yearsand then buy new again and again. thats why i feel many marauders are now coming out, at least around my area there are. however they are selling quick. mine was on the lot for 22 hours before i signed papers and another one next to the dealer i purchased from sat for only 1 day too. keep the car until you get bored. 2008 bullitt here i come!

I like the red cars too. That was the icing on the cake for my Marauder purchase. I would have bought it no matter what the color since I wanted a Marauder, but the DTR made it even sweeter!

Mine MM was a lease repo. Figure that into the equation when the price was over $35k when new and rebates were small.

^^^^^ Me too.^^^^^
I really like the DTR, and enjoyed mine up until the wreck. Was fortunate to find a replacement, and finding a low mileage BLUE was a plus. I do miss the moonroof, tho.

Nope, I rather keep 'er.
Although I did got an offer of 22K on my MM thought about it and rejected it, this is EXACTLY the car I want and for me NO other car can compare.

You ask a valid question. There is no pat answer. I had a '70 X-100 why did I sell it? Job change and I was no the road most of the year and the car was just parked, so I sold it and moved on. Do/did I miss it? Sometimes yes other times no. Am I making any sense? See what I mean. Will I sell my '03? I have offered to a few people but changed my mine at the 11th hour:)
Nothing is life stays the same each day dawns new, with it a new set of issues and luck, fate, or whatever is always just around the bend.
I though for many years that the marauder would never return. After 33 years it did. Never say never my friend.
Enjoy what you have now.:burnout:
What works for you might not work for the next person.

i was ready to sell my MM for a turbo awd audi tt. then i went to my first MM meet and greet and realized how much i love this car. i was bored of it, thats when i realized i hadnt put the pedal down in about 3 months and had not challenged the car in anyway. plus eating lunch in it everyday at work made it seem bland.
i have been revived. i love watching the car move and just drive... its bad, ill take my friends car and let him drive the MM just so i can see it move, lol. my friends joke "if you could, you would";) if you cant figure it out

Thats the whole point of these cars... 1) to have fun...... 2) to meet quite a few cops along the road:lol:

I pulled my '03 MM off "daily commute" early this year at 48,000 miles because I do want to keep it. Enjoyed all the road time with it, completely dependable (even w/ my heavy foot) and now it gets driven on nice days only...still w/ heavy foot :)

My plan is to keep it, I still have my first GM a 1992 with 208,000 mile on it.

Great Mike.
Love hear the high mileage deal no matter the vehicle. I still have my brother's 430ci Buick engine from his '69 Electra in my garage that we pulled with 275,000 miles on it without a valvecover being cracked open. Just could not junk it, despite the fact that the rest of the car could not be saved.
Good luck!

If you need another car, other than a Marauder, that is why there is such a thing as a second car. Why do you think they make two car garages?

I love my MM. I just wish I had another daily driver so I could perserve it longer. But I will drive it untill it dies :bigcry: by then I hope I have another DD and I can rebuild it bigger and badder.

I use my MM as a daily driver. Have about 76k on it now, and by this time next year I'll be at 100k+.
At that point - time to sell.
Its been cool, but not quite as cool as the Impala SS I had for 140k miles.
I think next up will be a used Dodge Magnum SRT/8....

My DTR isn't really for sale, but it has 50K on it with only a 100K warrantee. Knowing that the warrantee is gonna run out in two years or 50K more miles makes me more willing to let it go--if the price is right!!!!!
