While checking the Web for gas bibs, the same site also does Customized License Plate Frames (http://www.autoxpressions.com/licplatfram1.html) : stainless, gold-plated stainless, black anodized aluminum.

I like the idea of a custom plate (mm.net or something). I got mine at Pep Boys...black metal with glass cover for $13.99

Same here. Black metal frames. Nice and understated, just like the rest of the car.

Hey TAFfy: Did they tell you to hide your license plate number in the Witness Protection training program?

TAF - In NY and several other states is is a violation to cover your license plate or plates with glass, plastic or anything else. JFYI. P.S. Unless you are in the witness protection program. HeHe

I agree with stopping folks from doing the tints...but, the clear makes for a nice finished look...Oh well..New York. Bet your plates are cheaper though...mine were over $600 this year :help:

I found a set of license plate frames that I thought would go well with a black MM. They are 2 tone, chrome and black powder coat. Simple & classy. And they sure beat the dealer frames. I'll take a picture once I receive & install them.

Todd - $600 a year is quite high. I have a double vanity NY plate and it runs approximately $100 per year.
