So do you really need to remove the fan and fuel pump fuses while uploading the SCT XCal2 program? I just got mine from Lidio, and will install it along with my new JLT CAI. Anybody have a link to the fuse chart? I'm currently about 1000 miles from home

and my manual is in the garage.:help:

I have flashed my PCM just pulling the fuel pump fuse. I just don't like to have the extra drain for the amount of time the fuel pump comes on until it builds pressure (few seconds).
Technically you don't have to pull any fuses to flash your ECU. SCT is just issuing a CYA statement because it sucks it you loose power during a flash.
If you do want to pull at least the fuel pump fuse as I do, it is in the fuse box under the hood on the passenger side. It is the little 20amp guy that is closest to the front of the car and third back from the engine. It is easiest to get out if you use the fuse tweezers that are kept in the top of the fuse cover above the shin of the driver.

I had the SAME question for Lidio. He says he never bothers!!!
Those are generic directions from SCT, NOT written by Lidio. It's a lot easier without taking out the fuses, though, I suppose that step is there for a reason.
Enjoy. You will LOVE his tune.

Believe me, pulling the fuses are not necessary unless your battery is bad.

Be prepared for sore check mussles after down loading your tune. You will not stop grinning.

Thanks for all the advice, folks. We're looking at SNOW in the forecast here all of a sudden. YIKES! I'm not gonna flash up until I see dry roads here. I'll try to install the JLT CAI if I can find a warm enough spot here on the ranch.:)

Just do it! I pulled my fuses, but it looks like it doesn't really matter.
