So, a good friend of mine bought me drilled/slotted rotors for my birthday, and I've noticed lately, they are not zinc coated even though the description say they are because every morning when I go out, they have a bit of rust on them. No biggie once I start driving and it goes away, but I do notice the rust stays in the drilled holes and the slots, any way to eliminate that and/or from the entire rotor itself? So, because of that, the inside of my rims are starting to turn orange, almost like a coat of dust. How the hell do I keep that crap off?

Nope, I was thankful last winter wasn't brutal really, I will never drive this car again in the winter.

If you keep the inside of the wheel waxed, the rust dust wont buildup as much and start to bite into the wheels finish.Thats all you can do.

I take the wheels off mine twice a year to clean the inside really well.
Everytime I wash the MM, I also wipe the inside of the rims keeping them pretty clean all year round.
The peeling mentioned above could be the clear coat??
Mike.
