My stock coolant temp gauge is not moving. The weather here is cooler and my Aeroforce OBD gauge is showing anywhere from 188 to 195.
Anyone have any idea why the stock dash gauge no movey?

It is an idiot guage like the op.
It does not move until ~240*.

Is it plugged in to the sensor? There are two sensors on the coolant crossover tube, I believe one is for the PCM and the other for the gauge.

When you say not moving, I assume you mean it stays on "0". On re-reading your post you could mean that it stays in one position while the OBD2 reading is changing from 188 to 195. If that is the case, it's kind of like what Billy said. The stock gauge is not at all accurate. Not exactly an idiot light but not sensitive/accurate enough to tell you much. Anywhere from 170-200 still points roughly to 20 mph.

Sorry. Your first assumption was correct. It's dead 0 as if no signal. I'm aware of it's inaccurate nature.

Brian, you were right. Dunno how long, how or why it got unplugged.
The one on the DS is temp and the PS is OBD.
Thanx
Rich

Found the culprit!
My belt is shredding. I'm down to 3 ribs. Guess a piece whipped around and unplugged that sensor.
Guess I have something new to keep an eye on!
Must be that SC thing at work. Better check the alignment Rich.

Thanx, John.
I know exactly what's wrong. I have to remove the blower anyway to change the belt, so I'll fix it then.
The instructions call for a washer between one of the timing cover standoffs and the bracket. It's a PITA to install and misaligns the blower. It may have been needed on the prototype install, but on the three I've been involved with, it's a no-no.
