Wierd Noise In The Marauder

NOTICED A NOISE WHILE TURNING OFF THE MARAUDER...IT WAS LIKE A VENT DOOR CLOSING OR SOMETHING. SO I GO TO TURN THE BEAST ON AGAIN AND THE SAME NOISE OCCURS...NOTICED THE NOISE CAME EITHER FROM THE FLOOR SHIFTER CONSOLE OR BEHIND THE GLOVE COMP...RECENTLY I HAVE NOTICE THE NOISE DURING ACCELERATION FROM 0MPH...
DOES ANYBODY HAVE THE SAME NOISE???:confused:...
APPRICIATE ANY RESPONSE...:help:

I cannot say for sure, this is just a guess:

I have heard the vents (for the a/c and heater) on mine close before. Sounds like someone is closing a cardboard door under the dash.

Other than the normal ruckus the air ride module makes when the car is turned off, on, and sometimes when the car is sitting all alone...

I have no idea. :dunno:

This happens all the time on my Marauder. It is the vent door below the passenger side dash. It will make noises when it opens or closes. If the door gets stuck, your air will not work ( like a vacuum leak ). However, this is a common problem and may never need fixing.

I concur with Barry. When I shut my car off, it sounds like my vents squeak when closing. All is normal though.

My 03 CV Sport makes the same noise. Glad to hear it's all OK !

mine too...vent door squeeks when shut off...interesting thing is if i leave the hvac module on AUTO it wont make this noise..i think it is normal though a/c works fine:)

My CV has done this since the day I picked it up. I've heard it in the MM too.
