:help:I am hearing a squealing squeaky type noise when I hit the gas petal, I dont hear it all the time and I cant hear it when the car is not moving...Any ideas?:help:

check your hood. You might also do a search for hood & squeaks.

mine made a squeek noise if i stepped on the accel pedal just right,i used some white lithium grease at its pivot point( the accel pedal) and all is well...does it sound like it is coming from inside or outside?

Sounds like it could be under the hood...put its not the pedal for sure.

Squeek could be coming from the hood latch assembly, I've seen this on a couple cars.
PM frdwrnch, he can give you details on the best lube to use, and exact application points to resolve the problem.

No...I think its something with the engine almost like the belt...I checked the belt and it looks "fine." I just drove her and now I dont hear it...It comes and goes

It's obvious, When you step on the pedal the hamster has to turn faster so I'm guessing the hamsters wheel needs some 3n1 oil

IMHO, a graphite-based grease is preferable to 3 in 1 for this application, tends to cling to the rotating surfaces rather than fly off at higher RPM.:lol:
