Aside from the speedo beung in error, Why do I need a retune when installing 4.10 gears?:burn:

"The Tune" is the single best thing that I did to my Marauder...
It was one of the first things I did and it made all the difference in the world... made the car so much more fun to drive...:D

no offence but he was askin why he would have to RE tune for 4.10s not if he should get one or not. as for the question at hand..... :dunno:

Like Local Boy said, shift schedule will be messed up, need to get a tune to correct both the speedo error as well as re-align shift points to correspond to new gear ratio. Plus, the car in general will perform a whole lot better. IMO, if you're going to spring for 4:10s, plan on the tune as well. Either Lidio or Reinhart tunes are good, I've got a Reinhart and really like it.
