Must sell for son’s college tuition (some of it anyway:(). Purchased 7/18/05 with 6640 miles, now reads 20060 miles. Comes with extra set of black powder coated rims with tires. The only modifications I know of are the cigarette lighter has been replaced with a transmission temperature gauge, K & N air filter and tinted windows. The dealership found no other modifications. The car has a few very minor scratches and no dents. As far as I can tell it came from the factory with all available options.

$24,500.00. For more information email to kramasi@mac.com

Folks, don't comment on the asking price.

If you feel strongly one way or the other, PM him.

If we start this stuff here, we may end up back at the Old Classifieds

I've decided it's time to let mine go. I won't bore you with the reasons. It's DTR and has Moonroof, factory spoiler, PHP cold air induction, custom gods head on grill, trunk, and steering wheel. Also has 25 months and 51000 miles of 100K warrantee remaining. Oh yeah, I nearly forgot: a brand new set of floor mats sitting in my closet, and the tires are good. I'll throw in the XCal2 that I bought from Reinhart Automotive. The XCal2 has the factory tune and the tune that Dennis did for my car on it, but I'm running the Reinhart tune. When you add up the cost of the warrantee and all the other stuff I bought for the car, it would have had a sticker in excess of $39K. Plus......it's a Texas car. No salt, no rust!!!!!! I'll take $23,900 for it.

You can PM me or email me at MarauderTex@yahoo.com

Just saw the "Cars for Sale" header and jumped in. Didn't realize that I wasn't following protocol. I will consider myself reprimanded, and, if someone will give me instructions on how to go about it, I guess I can start my own thread.

Is it just me or do these seem pretty high?? Kelly Blue Book lists these as under $20K. I know owning a Mustang Cobra that KBB doesn't always factor in the "special vehicles", but if anyone can shed some light on this I'd appreciate it.

there were less than 1000 of the DTR made--even less with the moon roof. If I remember correctly, there were less than 300 of the blue ones. Also factor in the fact that MM owners are very particular about how their cars are cared for (for example: mine has Royal Purple in the tranny, rear-end, and crankcase). For those reasons alone, the cars should sell for more than the average car. Similarly, have you priced an Impala SS recently? They haven't made them since 1996, so the newest one available is 12 years old. A clean, low-mileage SS will sell for as much or more than it did when new.
