Man I really want one of those but the curb on my drive way is too steep and I just know it would get ripped off the first time I pull in or out.:(

I like it on the Black Marauder....but I just cant see in on my Silver....to much contrast for me I guess....although I dont know how because of the grille, headlights and side marker lights are all black

The DTRs look pretty sweet with them too. SS03 got his after he saw one on a DTR at Marauderville. You could always buy one, install it and if you don't like it... sell it! I'm sure some1 here would be willing to take one off your hands. You just have to make sure you get one that hasn't been bent in half to ship. From what I understand it is a pain in the butt to get the crease out of them. :argue:

Yep that's why I got Brian to get me one. I helped a friend put a bent up one on his 00 Mustang GT and it was a PITA but after laying out in the hot sun all day and use of a heat gun we got it back in shape.

Dude! That would be sweet I think! I could see that, body colored spoiler... I bet it would kinda blend with the car like the rear wing does.

Thanks for the suggestion Natalie....I had thought of that, I think these are more popular amongst the CV guys...so if it came down to it I am sure one of them would take it.

It's a nice idea but I would leave it the flat plastic black. Flows well with the black plastic trim under the doors...at least thats what everyone has told me on mine cause I thought about painting it and everyone was like NO lol.

I had purchased one but did not care for the look on my SB. Looks awsome on the black car. Sold it on ebay awhile back.
Leave it black. Surfs car is beautiful

If you ever want to paint a plastic part, and you're concerned about whether it'll stick or not -- use spray vinyl dye instead. It doesn't so much float on top like paint does, but gets absorbed into the item you're spraying and changes the color! It's much thinner than spray paint. The stuff works wonders! You can find it at most big-box auto parts stores.

Happy to report, the chin spoiler survived as a snow plow. Only bad thing, with the lower grill mod it had no where to go.
Had seven" of snow today.

I am still not sure what I think of the Mach 1 chin spoiler on the SB and I am really up in the air on trying it on my car.
I love the look on black and DTR, but just not sure on the SB. I guess I could get it and try it. If I don't like it I could just swap it on to the Crown Vic.
Waiting for the tax refund and will order from Wes.

I remember having one of those on my cobra. It lasted about two month before being torn off by a curb or the road by an entrance where it would drag.
Clearance is always an issue.
In my Firebird it was always dragging at every entrance.

I was hesitant as well, about putting one on, do to all the faux curbs and drive ways entrances. After doing it, i would always listen for that first tell tale sound of scrapage and jump out to take a peek :alone:. Usually the spoiler part is well past the curb with room to spare  . I think stock front ends or good to go with regulation height curbs. Those with lowered front ends, while looking cool might not be adviseable to install the spoiler.
My two pennies.
